Derrick "D-Reck" Dixon, renowned for his visionary leadership at Wreckshop Records; Mike D, a soulful voice of the legendary Screwed Up Click; and D-Gotti, whose gritty narratives have captivated listeners, have come together to launch the Dirty 3rd Network.
 

This groundbreaking venture is more than a platform; it's a cultural movement, designed to bring the authentic sounds, stories, and spirit of Houston to a global audience. Is also the owner of Wreckshop Records, an independent record label based in Houston, Texas, known for its significant influence on the Southern hip-hop scene, particularly in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Wreckshop Records is most notably linked to the careers of artists like Fat Pat, Big Moe, D-Gotti, and E.S.G., and Big Pokey, who were central figures in the Screwed Up Click—a collective of Houston rappers led by DJ Screw, famous for popularizing the chopped and screwed style of hip-hop music.

Derrick Dixon, often working behind the scenes, played a role in the development and success of Wreckshop Records. The label itself was founded by Derrick "D-Reck" Dixon, aiming to promote local talent and contribute to the evolving landscape of hip-hop music in Houston and beyond. Under his leadership, Wreckshop Records released a number of successful albums and singles, contributing to the rise of Houston's hip-hop scene on a national level.

The label's releases, particularly during its peak, were characterized by their rich storytelling, the unique sound of Texas hip-hop, and the chopped and screwed music style. This style involves slowing down the tempo of a song and applying techniques such as skipping beats and scratching to create a distinctive sound that has become synonymous with Houston hip-hop.

D-Gotti, hailing from Houston, Texas, is a rapper associated with the Southern hip-hop scene, particularly known for his work in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He gained prominence as part of the movement that encapsulated the gritty, raw sounds of Texas rap, contributing to the rich tapestry of the state's music culture with his distinct style and lyrical prowess.

D-Gotti was signed  with Wreckshop Records, a label that played a significant role in the development and popularization of Houston hip-hop. Wreckshop Records, home to artists like Fat Pat, Big Moe, and E.S.G., was pivotal in bringing the unique sound of Houston to a broader audience, including the chopped and screwed style popularized by DJ Screw and the Screwed Up Click. He was also signed to Priority Records. 

His music often explores themes common in Southern hip-hop, such as street life, resilience, and the hustle to overcome adversity, resonating with listeners through authentic storytelling and a deep connection to the cultural and social landscape of Houston.

He also starred in all three Dirty Third films as "Sonny BoBo". He has now joined forces with D-Reck and Mike D. creating the Drirty 3rd Network.  D-GOTTI is also the creator and host of Gotti FIles Podcast.

Mike D, also known as Michael Dixon, is a prominent member of the Screwed Up Click, a collective of rappers from Houston, Texas, founded by DJ Screw. DJ Screw is credited with the creation of the chopped and screwed DJ technique, which became a signature sound for Houston's hip-hop scene. The Screwed Up Click consists of various artists who were closely associated with DJ Screw and frequently appeared on his mixtapes.

Mike D is known for his deep, melodic voice and laid-back rapping style, fitting seamlessly into the slow, syrupy rhythms of chopped and screwed music. His contributions to the Screwed Up Click and the broader Houston hip-hop community have made him a respected figure in the genre. Like many members of the Screwed Up Click, Mike D's music often explores themes of street life, struggle, and the cultural identity of Houston.

Throughout his career, Mike D has collaborated with numerous artists both within and outside the Screwed Up Click, contributing to albums, mixtapes, and singles that have cemented his place in the Southern hip-hop legacy. Despite the death of DJ Screw in 2000, members of the Screwed Up Click, including Mike D, have continued to produce music and perform, keeping the spirit of their collective alive and influencing new generations of artists.

In addition to his solo work, Mike D's collaborations with other artists and his participation in projects commemorating the legacy of DJ Screw and the Screwed Up Click highlight his ongoing impact on the music scene. His work embodies the essence of Houston's contribution to hip-hop, characterized by a commitment to authenticity and innovation in the genre.
