Houston hip-hop legend Scarface, best known as a member of the iconic group Geto Boys, has been hospitalized again, sparking concern and prayers from fans and the music community. Scarface, whose real name is Brad Jordan, shared a post on Instagram showing himself in a hospital bed with an oxygen tube, simply captioned, "Ouch… grateful." Although the exact reason for his hospitalization hasn’t been disclosed, this comes three years after the rapper endured a serious health battle, including kidney failure following a severe COVID-19 infection.

Since sharing the news, an outpouring of support has come from the hip-hop community. DJ Quik, DJ Premier, and Mannie Fresh are among those who have sent messages of encouragement, reflecting on the lasting impact Scarface has had on the genre. Fans also rallied around the rapper with heartfelt prayers and well-wishes.

Scarface’s health challenges have been well-documented, including a kidney transplant in 2021, with his son serving as the donor. This recent health scare serves as another reminder of his resilience and the respect he commands in the hip-hop world.

Let’s continue to keep Scarface in our thoughts, hoping for a swift recovery as he battles this latest challenge. The Dirty 3rd Network extends our love and support to a Houston legend who has given so much to the culture (Rolling Out Rolling Out Hoodline).
